Introduction to the Project
Last year Starburst Arts ran a project called 20ME12
It was about using technology to make art. We used iPads and computers to find out all of the different ways we could be creative.
Everybody who took part said that they wanted to carry on and do some more. We listened and now we have made a new project called Art Out There!
This project is going to help more people to use iPads and computers to make art. It is also going to help the people who took part in the 20ME12 project to learn more skills.
We want to help people to have their own online galleries. They can show their artwork on the Internet to people all over the world
We will be running 8 workshops with members of Starburst Arts and WRAP Outreach Group, based in Chichester.
When the workshops have finished we aim to have regular drop in sessions, so that people can still get help to keep their skills. They can also put new artwork on their galleries and keep them up to date.
We plan to show the project artwork in local venues as well.
This is part of our OUTBURST initiative, which helps people with Learning disabilities to have their artwork displayed.
